It's that time of the year...1/3....Happy Birthday Miho! Good luck in this new year for you!

NEC has released a new wallpaper once again...same style, but different picture. Go to NEC's site to check it out.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I might have some bad news. Miho has been withdrawn from her role in TBS' new drama, according to Ling. This drama was orginally planned to go against Fuji TV's Kimura, but as it turned out, the final cast chosen was Fukuda Kyoko.

According to my friend, Ling, Miho has recently appeared in a Japanese TV show! During this show, she sang a new song! I don't know much about this show though, as it wasn't said here...however, Ling told me the fans in Japan were very excited, because she has rarely appeared on TV for quite some time! She also told me she will be having a concert in March! I'll add more later!

Thanks to Terry for the summary and ratings report of Miho's newest drama (夫婦漫才)! The lead actress of this drama is, of coruse Miho, and the lead actor is...Masahiro Komoto (甲本雅裕). The drama takes place during the Japanese war. Miho and Komoto's character have known each other since they were small. However, it was only during the war which caused Miho and Komoto to love each other, have a baby, and get married. However, not long after their marriage, Komoto was sent by Japan to fight for his country. Five years later, he came back to meet Miho. However, he had lost one of his leg during the war, and they now face an economic problem. Miho went to do some farming for their income, until one day, Komoto had an idea. That was that the both of them can be actors and actresses of a type of act or play (漫才) Sorry, but I don't really know what this is...I'm guessing its a sort of play. Anyway, one day, an entertainment company sent a person over to watch these two people's acts, and decided they were very good at this. From this day on, the two started their life in the acting business. (Very sorry for the misunderstanding of some words, like 漫才)

The final ratings for this drama is 8.9%. Compared to dramas in the same period of time, it was still rather low. It was also low compared to Love Story's rating. However, it was still a very good drama, due to the fresh storyline, which I think, is quite appealing.

NEC has released yet another video of Miho! Click here to go to NEC's site to view what the video is like. For those of you who are not a member of 121ware yet, I'll try and briefly summerize it here. The clip is just mainly showing Miho walking around. The most interesting part is the dance which Miho does while she was waiting for something. Hm...it doesn't make much sense when reading it here, but when you do see the clip for yourself, I'm sure you'll know what its like!

I don't know about you, but I am a huge fan of Doraemon as well as Miho Nakayama. Anyway, I was watching a Doraemon show yesterday, and I was surprised to hear one of the characters talk about Miho! They were talking about collecting phone cards, and one of the characters (Suneo, the person with the funny hair and in a green shirt) was bragging about a Miho Nakayama phone card. Although the real name wasn't used, it is obvious the person in the phone card was Miho. In Chinese, it was even funnier. He said, "你睇,係山中美穗的電話卡!" Translated into English, it would be, "look, its Yamanaka Miho's phone card!" I don't know, but I thought this was quite interesting, so I decided to share it with you. You might think its just a useless piece of information. Oh well.

Miho had to eat 30 crabs for a Kirin Beer commercial before the director accepted the CM. Poor Miho!

It has been reveled by someone working in a television station in Japan, that Miho's salary for eevery episode of drama done is $105,000, same as Tokiwa Takako, an actress who's dramas have reached high ratings, with one being Beautiful Life. The most money earned for every episode, I think, is Takyua Kimura. More than $105,000 per epsiode. He needs it though...for his wife Kudo Shizuka, and their daughter...uh...can't remember her name. It seems, though, that Miho earns more than even Sorimachi Takashi, who earns $84,000, Fujiwara Norika, who earns both $70,000 and the title,"rating poison" (because nearly all her dramas have low ratings), and Matsu Takako, who earns $70,000 per episode.

The currency used in the above article is in Hong Kong dollars. The amount of money is only an approx., so they cannot be used to judge anything. The nicknames and way of using money are my opinion's only. For complains, please send me an e-mail.
